Nathan Ayotte, CFP®, is principal and portfolio and wealth manager at the firm. He joined Goldman Shelby in 2008 and works with individual and institutional clients concentrated in Oregon, Washington and California. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional (CFP®) and adheres to a disciplined approach and process to fully understand his clients’ goals and then provide the best financial and investment counsel. Nathan is a member of the firm’s wealth management team and the firm’s management team.
Prior to joining the firm, Nathan worked as a manager for Scottrade’s Park Avenue office in New York and as an equity trader at Bidwell & Company in Portland. Raised in Portland, he graduated from the University of Oregon, where he received a B.S in psychology. Nathan is a member of the Chartered Financial Analysts Society of Portland. He is the president of the Multnomah Athletic Club Board of Trustees and also serves as a board member of Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. He was recognized in 2012 by the Portland Business Journal as one of Portland’s “Forty Under 40.”
Nathan lives in Southwest Portland with his wife, Elizabeth, and their two daughters. He enjoys traveling and discovering new restaurants in his free time.
